'97 M3 Stick Impluse Buy??? Should I?

Ok I just test drove a '97 M3 stick with low milage.

Now that I've calmed down some, I'm seriously debating whether to go back and get it.

Its dark metallic green with black interior.. very nice altough normally I wouldtn think of a green car. But it does look nice.

I've spent 6 months thinkin about cars and 2 months test driving and really getting into what I like.

Now that I've tested this thing I think mebe its what I want. Price is right.

But my whole deal has been not to buy on an impulse and take my time.

Took all the self restraint I had to leave the dealership without the keys!

I'ev run the VIn # and its come up clean.

I know that the m3 odometer is easy to trick and lower the milage, but I think that someone doing it wouldnt lower it this much...

I can also get a service plan (with deductibles though) which is something I really want (hence why I was looking at new cards).

what do you guys think?

AIE!

I JUST DID LAST NITE!

AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

THIS THING IS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok First Q.

I have the option to get an extended warranty on it for 4/48k for $2k..

It coves teh engine, power train, electrical, etc... doesnt cover normal stuff like brakes or rotors or clutch tho.

Is it worth the $?

Still waiting for all the stuff to go thru, but this thing is awesome!

Anything else I should know about? I've been reading everything abuot the car the last week...

When you get home, pop a beer, sit down in your most comfortable chair, and revel in the fact that you did not end up with a Lexus!!

if I do a direct connect wire for the radar, will it void any warranty? I'm using the cig liter rite now.

Thanks,

Thumbs up Congrats/warranty

Congrats on the purchase of my favorite car ever. Unfortunatly I'm stuck with an 86 VW Jetta. It hauls though. Thanks the the schrick cam. But you are god in my book right now. I sat in an 88 the other day and I was so nervious. It's too much car for a 17 year old but I want it. How much was your car? About your radar? If you have no problem with the lighter plug in then keep it that way. It'll be easier to fix later on. My Dad had a CB radio in his truck and the warranty wasn't affected even though it was installed without the lighter hook up. What kind of scanner was it? Is it any good, I need one? Anyways nice car. There was a green one on speed vision last night it was sweet. Nice puchase.
