00-01 foglights

My question is I found a site that sells the o.e.m foglights is there a how to anybody knows of on the web, and how hard is the install. I see that you have remove the steering wheel to replace the headlight swicth with one that has the foglight swicth on it. But I was thinking worst case I could install a toggle swicth. I dont want to mess with the airbag if its a big deal

Anybody done this that could help me out

by the way I have a 01 neon se base model

Cool foglights

Okay I ordered the foglight kit for like 129.00 and received it allready, problem is I havent had enuf time to install.Looking it over and checking the paperwork that comes with it, it looks pretty easy.I confirmed the Neon allready has the wiring from the front to the dash, so that part is a cinch. The light switch assy is done without removing the steering wheel so theres no need to worry about the airbag. This switch looks just like the one in there now, but has an additional switch on the end for the foglights. It looks pretty much like an R&R (remove n replace) thing.I also bought two new headlight assys from Matrix out of Calif. and allthough they were premium $$$ they look great. They are "exact replacements", in that they have the same silver border around the inner headlight. Most after market headlight assys have a black border and look like the car has "black-eyes".Been looking for some nice rear taillights for not so much $$$.They're usually running about 176.00 a pair.If you know of some, let me know.I will tell you more of the foglight installation as i get to it.

Fog lights

Hey Neon- in-Dallas, are these fog lights actually yellow. We have the clear ones, but being old fashion I prefer yellow, for it iluminates animals better when hy-way driving. Also yellow is great in our winter storms. Please reply. Thanks

Re: 00-01 foglights

I am interested in purchasing some stock fog lights for my 2001 neon as well. Does anyone know a good place to get them other than ordering from Mopar? And how did the install go? Was it simple? Is the new switch included? And the wiring is already installed in the car from the front to the dash?
