Same? Why do Cobra's produce over 300 HP, except 93-95, but they were still more. Anyways, what are you trying say?

a 95 will run 15.9 stock, a 2001 has like 15 more hp, but they both way about 3900, actually the 2001 ways a little less. I guess it makes sense.

The Lincoln has better fuel economy due to restrictive intake & exhaust compared to the Mustang Cobra. Also, a V-8 produces 2 to 3 times more torque than a four cylinder engine at low R.P.M.'s. Stop light to stop light, only a twin turbo 4 cylinder ( i.e. Lotus Esprit ) can keep up with a V-8 engine's torque. However, more factors affect the quarter mile (i.e. weight, engine redline, aerodynamics, transmission gearing, etc.).

Kinda sounds like he had you from the start, which is typical of drags.
I have beat cars more powerful than my mine (at LACR and on the street) because my start offs were better. It's all about who really gets moving first. Most drags are won from the starting line, could that be what happened here?

Also, similar to this story. I read in like SCC I think, that like a 93 300ZX TT that had about 300-350hp?, got beat by a Buick Grand National with (suposedly) simple bolt ons at a stop light. As the story went that motivated him to beef it up more to say 500-600. I could find it if anyone wants actual data, but you get the idea... So there are some cars out there packin a punch where you might not expect it.

if the lincoln starts with 275hp+superchip[miro tunner],exhoust,k&n that = what 300 or so hp .The superchip web site said on a conti, with that V8 adds 29 hp 32 TQ at the engine just with the superchip and it weighs 3814 that = what in 1320 ft.

Usually we can understand it, sometimes it takes a few lookthroughs. Nah, Im just messin with ya, I was just agreein with somebody else on an earlier post. The one below, I know what you mean though with the just wanting to hurry and say it.

"yeah, but the jdm itr has I think 5 hp more and barely any more torque, and if vtec ludes run low 15's stock then no way the vtec lude is faster than even the USDM ITR. the 2nd gen GSR ran faster than their time for the ITR. I hear the vtec ludes compared to the GSR's usually and the lude comes out a bit faster, but the ITR is a good bit faster than the GSR. and I am surew with a good driver in the lude a win over a ITR could happen, but with equal drivers/conditions the ITR should own it."
