sorry i couldn't find a spec. i checked my chilton automotive guide and this is what it says "compare the highest readings from each cylinder to that of the others. The indicated compression pressures are considered within specifications if the lowest reading cylinder is within 75% of the pressure recorded for the highest reading cylinder."

this should help you out as long as you know how to properly do your compression test. i would also say aslong as your over 125 psi on every cylinder i would say your good to go. and that is possibly a little high. hope this helps.

To make it simple, 2g should be 170, 1g 155 or so. Its ok to be a little low, more important is that they are all the same, as eluded to above. Be sure the battery is stong, and test from right (cyl1, timing belt side) to left (cyl 4). The 1 and 2 cylinders are almost invariably the lowest (since they run the leanest) so do them first so you arent wondering if it was just the battery losing juice. Also, be sure you have the throttle wide open and all plugs removed. To keep it from starting, pull the MPI fuse on 1G, or the triangular coil plug on 2G. Have fun
