Nope, they weren't supercharged. I'm trying to find this out. I knew it at one point, but it slipped my mind. I'm gonna ask on another board...

yeah the SC doesnt mean super charged,but i really have no idea what it is. all I know is that the chevy claimed that the motor was weaker than it really was this was to provide customers cheaper insurance.

I was told that by a buddy of mine who's parents have all of the original books that came out on muscle cars back in the 60's and 70's, including all of the aftermarket dealerships which did modifications and sold them to the public. He's trying to find it in one of those books, and if he does, I'm gonna see if he can scan it in and I'll post it...
