My friend weighed his stock RSX Type S wheels and they were only 16 or 17 lbs!

If U are looking for wheels for the performance: I think U should stick with the stocks and just upgrade to a better tires and work on Ur suspension. The reason is because the car performs better with smaller diameter tire and the stocks are perfect size for the car. (the stock do weigh the 16.5lbs.) If U are interested in the looks and performance: Try looking into the 18"5zigen wheels (approx. 17lbs) or 18"GramLights, Volk Racing (approx. 16.5). |

Re: Weight of RSX wheels?
I've got 17"X7.5" Kosei Racing K-1s they weigh the same as the stock rims. (stocks 16"X6.5") I put 225/45/ZR17 Goodyear EAGLE GS-D3's on for Summertime. (mid April-Thanksgiving) Use the stock rims with Dunlop Winter Sport M3's for the cold months. (late Nov-mid April) I have no problems with handling and performance with the summer tires.
Stock Wheels and tires (Michelins) ~38# (205/55/VR16) Kosei Racing K-1's and Goodyear EAGLE F1's ~38# (225/45/ZR17)
