26.5lbs isn't light. I don't know how much the RSX stock rims weigh, however, i have Velox 17" rims on my RSX and they weigh 16.5lbs. each. So for him to say that 26.5lbs is light is bullshit.

Velox is really really cool, they are creditable, light, and look damn good. I didn't get 18's cause they style i liked wasn't available at the time in 18's and the ride is ruff as it is, so that's okay. Besides, you have to remember, the bigger the rim the heavier it is, the more hp you're sappin out the wheel. If you could be patient for a month, i'll have pics of my car on this forum, just keep lookin throughout november.

That was just for the rim alone.

If U are looking for wheels for the performance: I think U should stick with the stocks and just upgrade to a better tires and work on Ur suspension. The reason is because the car performs better with smaller diameter tire and the stocks are perfect size for the car. (the stock do weigh the 16.5lbs.)
If U are interested in the looks and performance: Try looking into the 18"5zigen wheels (approx. 17lbs) or 18"GramLights, Volk Racing (approx. 16.5).

Re: Weight of RSX wheels?

I've got 17"X7.5" Kosei Racing K-1s they weigh the same as the stock rims. (stocks 16"X6.5") I put 225/45/ZR17 Goodyear EAGLE GS-D3's on for Summertime. (mid April-Thanksgiving) Use the stock rims with Dunlop Winter Sport M3's for the cold months. (late Nov-mid April) I have no problems with handling and performance with the summer tires.

Stock Wheels and tires (Michelins) ~38# (205/55/VR16)
Kosei Racing K-1's and Goodyear EAGLE F1's ~38# (225/45/ZR17)
