sticking gas pedal

On a '93 Transport when I push on the gas there is slight stick then its fine. It only happens when you take your foot off and push again. Does anybody know what causes this and how to fix.

Thanks
Rob

Re: sticking gas pedal

More likly than not it's the throtle body thats causing the bind. Since its 10 years old it's probably long overdue for a T/B service so pull it off
give it a good clean/lube. If it still binding it's usually
the butterfly against the body & should be visible.
I would tweak the throtle stop screw in just a bit &
this should do it. The only option G.M. gives you is to replace it $$$$$.
Don't forget to get a new T/B gasket before you start. Good luck.
