Camry Drifting or Sliding

I have a 99 Toyota Camry i4 and was wondering what is it called when i pull the e-brake and slide around a turn with the steering wheel turned the opposite way as im turning.
I would also like to know if a upper strut bar will make a big differance in the car handling. Thanks

There's usually a tensioner dial somewhere along the e-brake cable. Turning that will tighten up your e-brake.

What does a tensioner dial look like and do i need a special tool to adjust it? and if your talking about the cable under the car that you tighten with a wrench it does not have that. someone told me i can tighten it from inside the car right below the e brake handle but i cant see anything their. is this true?

You should be able to tighten it right below the e-brake lever where the cable attaches to it. If you haven't taken out the center console then do that and look for it. You can also adjust it under my car (Toyota MR-2) by tightening the bolt along the e-brake cable. If you can't find a way to tighten it from the e-brake lever then you might try looking harder under the car for something.

Hmm, no cable on the e-brake, huh? Because that's what I was talking about. We did a similar thing to my old teammate's Geo Storm for amateur autocrossing and rallying.

Well, we called it rally practicing. We found an old dirt path of a road way out in Stark County and picked two random spots that we'd time ourselves on. Good times. We probably almost-crashed about a bazillion times. But, heck, it was a $500 Geo Storm with a $75 header, free 1.5inch exhaust we welded ourselves, junkyard hi-flo cat, and four bullet holes in the hood. If we crashed it, oh well.

Anyways, I'm out of ideas. Consult the owners manual or look it up in a Chiltons.
