Custom Gauge Clusters...

Hey All. I own a 1993 S-10 Blazer (Vortec V6, 4.3L 4x4), and I'm planning on installing an all custom gauge cluster, featuring all AutoMeter Ultra-Lite gauges. I've been doing alot of research and come to find out that all of the Autometer gauges I want (the electrical ones) can be hooked up directly to all of the engine senders that are stock. For instance, the Autometer Oil Pressure gauge can be wired directly into the stock oil pressure sender unit which is mounted on the top of the block. From what I can tell, its the exact same for all of the gauges, including the Speedometer.

So the original cluster (non-digital) is still in my dash (and I won't tear it out until I have all of the Autometer replacements), and I plan on fabricating a new cluster out of aluminum in order to house the Tach and Speedo. Anyway, the old cluster is (I'm assuming) plugged into one harness which delivers all of the proper voltages and such so that each gauge will read properly, and all of the lights will function. Does anyone know what lies beneath the stock cluster, and what the harness looks like??? Anyone know where I can find a diagram or schematic??? If anyone has any knowledge that they believe I could benefit from, don't hesitate to reply.

And in case your wondering why I want to do this?? I don't know... Maybe I just like the look of Ultra-Lites so much... or maybe I just want a challenge... Like I said, any info is good info...

Thanks in advance.
