crankwalk?

i'm interested in getting a 95-99 turbo eclipse. My buddy recently bought one and his had crankwalk. Now he has to get a new engine. I've heard that its a very common problem with these cars. Have any of yall heard of this or experienced it?

lol aww dont give him a hard time . Yea man just search "crankwalk" and im sure you will fine numerous sites with info about it if thats what you are even wondering. Yes, i believe we have all experienced/heard about it. Keep in mind that the 1G eclipses dont experience it

I REALLY wish we could get this stickied here. There is no way I am going to keep typing all that out, and it beats all the other missinformation that you'll find in abundance on the internet.

Despite having crankwalked 3 motors I will still say that it is rare when you look at the number of these cars out there. If it really was that common, mitsu would have been forced to recall it.

And 1Gs do crankwalk. But more on that in the above link.

sure it is, any engine can crankwalk.
