Question Engine n Tranny Matches!!!

ok.. i have a 92 mirage with a 4g15 in it and i was wondering if a 4g63 would fit and work with my tranny. Its automatic if that matters... and do you have any suggestions with other motors i could use that would work.. ur post would be greatly appreciated

Transmission match

The 2.0L engine has a larger transmission, therefore I would say, yes you'll need the corresponding transmission.

I've looked into swapping out my own 1.5L for something larger and in every case I'll need the transmission that goes with that engine. The 1.5L tranny would be ripped apart by a 2.0L after a while... especially if any boost is applied.

I'll do some more research, but that has been the fruit of my labor to this point in the search for more power.
