Guys,
i nid help badly.... i recently installed a Apexi Safc...... i followed the instruction on the manual... i was able to have it running and everything is quite running perfectly.. except for one... its reading half of wat is suppose to be on display on my tach.....if my gauge is telling me m reving up to 2000 rpm, my AFC displays only 1000 what to do guys??? is there something i missed??? my car is a lancer 1993 with a transplanted 4g63 N/T eci-multi 1st gen engine.... Somewhere there will be the ablity to adjust how many cylinders the AFC thinks your car has.
At the moment its calculating your revs based on the ignition timing of an 8 cylinder.

even if i set it to 4 cylinders???

You need to set it to 4cyl, then it should show the correct RPM.
If it still dosnt then double check you have it hooked up correctly.

much appreciated bro...
i already set it to 4 cylinders but d problem still persisted... do you think its with the wiring???? but how come it is still able to read the revolutions??? although its just half of the real thing but still it was able to read???
