2004 Silverado

Just wanted to say hi since I'll be hanging out here for a while now.

I bought a 2004 Silverado LS last wednesday and I love the truck. 4.8L V8, Extended Cab.

The only things I dislike with the truck are the exhaust and the factory radio. The radio fix will be here tomorrow, but now that leaves me to the exhaust.

What sounds the best on these trucks typically. I've heard about the American Thunder by Flowmaster. Any other suggestions? I'm looking preferrably for a dual rear exit system.

Any help or comments would be great. Thanks again, and I look forward to talking with you all.

Well if you want your exhaust to last a long time so you don't have to keep replacing it make sure you get a stainless steel exhaust. I've got Borla on my '99 5.3L and love it. Haven't had any problems. Its all in personal preference though.

So your looking for exhaust...i have a 2002 ext cab with the 5.3L and i have Flowmaster muffler...i had the exhast comming out the sides and angled down behind the rear tires, but then i decided to cut it..i cut so its aimed down right over the axel. but yeah it sounds good, and i about to get Edelbock headers for it, hopefully in like a week. but yeah flowmaster sounds good.
