The best I have found as far as performance goes...
Borla makes some stainless steel headers that give you 20 HP/25 lbs torque... pretty much the best i have seen. I have seen 15-20 HP/Torque in edelbrocks and such.. Edelbrock is almost half the price (250-350ish... compared to 650ish), but why not maximize your performance? Other cheap upgrades include the cat-back, the hypertech power programmer iii, and a new k&n air filter. The last two alone you notice the power immediately in the form of sound and harder shifting. Good Luck on your Silverado.

thanks alot for the reply...i think im going to go with the Edelbrock headers because they are 300 and they are ceramic coated. also i have a full cat-back system, k&n cold air intake and hypertech power programmer...and yeah it does help out a lot...i have a extended cab 2wd and i ran a 15.47 in the 1/4 mile...but thanks a lot..
