65 GTO Build Date on Data Plate

I have a 1965 GTO Convertible and I am trying to understand the build date code on the data plate on the firewall. The code on the data plate is 03F, which should mean March (03) and the F should be the week. However, the GTO id numbers book I have says that A=1st week, B=2nd week, C=3rd week, D=4th week, and E=5th week.

Mine shows 03F. Has anyone seen this before and what does it mean?

Thanks

Thanks SuPeRcAr_MaN.

The site has a lot of info.

I just can not figure out why my dataplate shows 03F as the build date and what the "F" represents.

Yes, I have double checked the 03F. I thought it may have been a "dirty" B, but it is an "F". I will try and get a good picture of the plate and post it.

Definitely looks like an F... Don't know what it means, but I will try to find out. Let me know if you do...
