Cool 2004 Se-R SPEC V

I just got the new SPEC V, and I'm not sure where to start... I know it's a little soon and there aren't many parts available yet, but what do you guys think I shuld do first?

Re: 2004 Se-R SPEC V

There are quite a few parts available, not compared to say a civic or integra, but a good amount none-the-less

It really depends on what your interests are. Give us a few details about what you're looking for. Looks, power, suspension, audio, etc. and then we can help you out. Just to help you in your researching, here are some universal parts

any suspension part from 00+ will fit
any engine parts for the 02+ se-r or spec-v will fit
in order to use any body or lip kits for the 00-03 you will need to change your headlights, hood, and fenders just to fit the new front bumper. A full replacement rear bumper should fit but don't quote me on that

well as far as body kits are concerned, I'm looking for a nice clean look, nothing fancy or ostentatious. I'm also looking for a way to clear out my corners, mine are huge and yellow. As for the engine mods I'm looking to max out my horsepower, realistically I'm probably looking at around 250 hp just short of shooting NOS, but I'd rather not.

oh and I've looked at Nismo's line and they have some interesting parts available for my year, but it'll be a while before I can afford that, I was just wondering if there were any more economically sound alternatives.

thanks

Re: 2004 Se-R SPEC V

250 isn't exactly possible NA without n2o

I believe the highest I've seen is 190whp or so, which would come out to around 230 at the flywheel. I think that person had:
cai, header, catback, ur pulley, jwt bs removal, grounded knock sensor, motor mounts (I know they don't add power, but they will DEFINATELY help put it to the ground), jwt cams, and I'm not sure but I think he had a flywheel and safc too. Short of n2o or turbo you're looking at ~$3k to hit 190whp and probably low 14 second passes.

I don't believe there are any body kits out for your year sentra either, but if you wanted to spend the money you could get a carbon fiber hood for 00-03, 00-03 fenders and headlights, and any of the body kits out there right now.

nah he has an 02 or 03, but they have the same engine and take the same mods, so it doesn't really matter

Body Kits

I too just purchased a new 04 Spec V, and yeah, its hard to find aftermarket stuff. Checking into the subtle yet noticeable body kits myself, and so far nothing for the 04.

Buddy Club is working on it, but no word on when it will be ready, and i am also keeping an eye on the kit from www.Moldynamics.com, check it out: http://moldynamics.com/store/merchan...uct_Code=41800

Good luck!

I was going to get a Black One, but it had some damage on the left rear bumper (must have been a wild test-drive). When i asked about others, the dealer brought me upstairs (their reserve lot) and there, basking in the sun, was a Brand Spank'n New White One. Still wrapped in plastic, with only 8miles on the speedometer. I was the first and only test drive!

And of course it was the only one they had with the Brembo "Big Brake Package". Oh Yeah! This thing stops on a dime!

Simi is the city that caught fire last week. We are south of Magic Mountain, West of Chatsworth, and East of Ventura. Right in the middle of it all. Not too many Spec's around, just the way i like it!

By the way, i just debadged my Spec. Nothing but SpecV on the sides, and trunk. Looks awewsome! I am sure to get some on-looker's wandering what it is.
