It does. At 85 kms I can drop the hammer and smoke the tyres up pretty good.

I know but since I am in kiwi land and quite a few were here hoped I would accepted

Everyone's seen the pics of my SiR so I thought I'd pop these up from the NSW Honda Car Club Xmas meet at Honda Australia's Roadcraft Training (HART) center at St Ives. We were out there today and go to use the skidpan for motorkanaing. Lots of fun (the ITRs were occasionally getting into second - my ratios kept me in first driving conservatively.

We did a dry run and then got the track wet down for some fun and games. Playing were about 5 ITRs, my Civic SiR, 2 '90 Preludes, a WRX wagon, a full house Silvia and a stock new Silvia, 2 real 4WDS (bloody fast would you believe in the twisty cone designated courses) an old skyline a few commodores and a Mazda 121. Fun day out, but my handling loses out to the ITRs even though my car is lighter and we have the same wheelbase.

I think the pics should be titled: When I grow up, I want to be an ITR too

I think the yellows look the best too (same with the NSXs). There were 3 red and 2 white, that was it

Too true! :alien2:

I don't like the red type r's as much. It is that sort of red dull colour. Prefer darker shade like mine. Think mine is torino red pearl....but then again, I'm a bit biased huh?

Just a touch

One of the guys was a parts interpreter for Honda. Apparently red is the least popular colour for the old ITR - I can understand why.
