top speed and integra questions

guys got a question. right now i'm driving a 93 civic dx. even though its not possible to rev out 5th gear... it should technicly take the car up to 200mph with its ratio right? With this ratio I'm guessing that my interstate RPM is around 1,800-2000 if my butt is telling me correctly (no tach) I get like 40 MPG with my car right now.

Anyhow, I'm looking at 94 integra GS-R. I drove the car, it seems to me like the gearing is really high. I think i was doing like 3500RPM at 65mph. So does this mean the car is gonna red line out at 120MPH then? Maybe I'm wrong. Just FYI I'm more a cornering/autocross boy, but I still want to make sure the car can move incase i need to outrun a nuclear blast or something. lol

Questions:

What is the top speed of an integra?

What is the mileage at 70mph?

What is the RPM at 70mph?

What is the speed limiter set at on an integra?

i know these are all pretty dumb questions but if anyone wants to answer them, thanks!!

Re: top speed and integra questions

Your probably right about your car spinning 1800-2000 rpms on the freeway, I have a 90 Crx with a ZC engine which spins 4000 rpms at 80mph. My redline in fifth is somewhere around 135 or 140. It just depends, do you want a higher top speed which you will use once in a blue moon, or do you want shorter gearing which will give you better acceleration?

Re: Re: top speed and integra questions

Your DX should cutoff at 125 or so anyways because of the governor. I could get my DX up there in 4th gear, or 5th downhill, and it wouldn't go any further. My B16B would probably redline at 145-150 if it wasn't for the 125 governor...
