Exclamation Help On Sanding & Polishing Required

OK guys, can Tamiya Compound remove 2000 grit sandpaper scratchmarks on a painted car body? If not, what is the roughest grit that Tamiya Compound can remove?

I'm pretty sure that this is about right, but I've about it taking 1500 scratches out.
