91 dx b16 swap...
a friend of mine just bought a 90-91 dx hatch. I managed to get a hold of an jdm 90 integra XSI b16a engine for him. what kinda times can he expect to run, he already has the 4-1 header and an intake and is getting the nology(sp?) wiring. what can we expect to see out if this lil beast. BTw the registration for the car says weighs 1900-something lbs.

a 90-91 DX hatch weighs in around 2200 lbs. witha b16, that should jump to about 2300 lbs without a driver. I would say you will be running 14.6 - 14.9 in the 1/4

hmm. i was kinda hoping for a lil better than that. he's contemplating boost, but that won't be for quite some time.

I ran 15.0@92mph with just an exhuast with my B16 in 91DX. The problem was:
1) I had big rims on.. Big rims = not good for your 1/4 time. 2) I have a hatch full of stereo equipment.. Wich is fine, because I love my music. ![]() 3) No traction.. It should be more like mid 14s basically stock if I had slicks.
