305/350 Heads

I would like to put a 350 in place of my stock 305 HO in my Camero. Would the heads off of the 305 work on the 350? From what I understand the 305 HO has larger valves. The 350 is out of street-stock racecar that got T-Boned the first race. The heads on this engine would not allow pump gasoline due to too high of compression.
If anyone knows please let me know. Thanks

Re: 305/350 Heads

Need more info, what year engines, casting numbers on engines and heads. And if it was mine id check on gasoline alternatives and do a complete swap to keep the compression if possible.

Re: 305/350 Heads

Really I had a that combo in a 75 vette worked great! But if you going to drive it on the street you need to be able to run on pump gas. I was at 11 and half on my vette could only run pemium.
