Question Missing thermostat??

Need some serious help in locating the thermostat on my sons 96 Century 3.1L. The upper hose goes straight to the pump and the lower hose goes to an aluminum tube that goes to the right side of the engine and disappears under the air intake and exhaust pipe. No signs of a thermostat housing either. Nothing I can find in the radiator either. Thanks for your help.

Re: Missing thermostat??

It's probably on top the pump then, pull off your upper hose and take a look, or ask your dealer.

Re: Missing thermostat??

Your T-stat is under the exhaust and throttle boby. GM always puts the t-stat uin the oultlet line.
