Angry 2003 oil change help

All right I used to have a ford changed my oil oil all the time got a 2003 cavalier and I can't find the darn filter to do it help before I go blow the car up or shell out 30 to 40 dollars to change

Filter is on the back of the engine, right side above where the ehaust pipe crosses under the engine.

Hey boricua...
Wanna little bit of advice?

Put a plastic bag on the exhaust section that is right under the filter to save you smelling burning oil for a week.

Theres no way I can figure out to remove the filter without slopping some oil on the exhaust.

I used a small piece of cardboard on mine to keep from getting OIL on exhaust. But then again who usually chages their oil when the car is warm. So, a plastic bag would work too I would guess. Good Job on going GM btw. We have had nothing but problems with every ford product we have ever bought!!!!
