Killed a turbo eclipse

Ok so heres the story: Me and my buddies were coming home from a nite out. This black eclipse spyder rolls up and revs it at me. I just let him go...well my buddy in his crx is 2 cars ahead of me and this guy revs it at him. My buddy not being one to back down from a race revs it back. The light turns and they are off....well i get behind both of them...then it kicks it that this eclipse is turbo..im thinking my buddy is gonna get his ass handed to him....Nope my buddy beats this car...I was like holy shit. Just thought id share that with you all.

unless an eclipse has an aftermarket turbo, they are really not that fast.

id his si has maybe 120hp at best, to the ground less than 100, an AWD turbo eclipse would have rocked him.

Are you positive that it was a turbo eclipse???? Maybe it was just a GS or RS, that would make more sense

He said it was an Eclipse Spyder so it was only a GS-T and not a GSX...they only made GSX's in the 2 door coupe. But even so a stock GS-T Eclipse has enough power (210 hp/214 tq) for the weight disadvantage and shoulda still kicked the CRX's ass.
