i've been looking for a nice project car to work on so i wont beat my car 2much anymore i have 206,000 miles on my car so i've been doing research and i've came to the conclusion i may want a 92-94 MR2 Turbo because it has from what i heard good handling and good acceleration. but i wanted to know is it a good project car. are there aftermarket products for them. and how is the top speed on them. i only want it so that i can it at the drag strip and some midnight street racing
. so i want more info about the car is it expensive 2 find i want sumthin thas not in the best condidtion so i can rebuild it. so can i get some info thanks

i think the the mr2 is a good project car...it is faster than a lot of new cars today including the new mr-s...because its an iron block, it can withstand high amounts of preasure..it has a lot of after market parts and can be pretty cheap compared to something like the rx7...i think a nice one can get up to arround $5000 but u can find them for arround $3,000... if u look online there are a lot of exauhsts, turbos, body kits, ect. for it... i am not sure what the top speed is...i think it is in the mid hundreds...plz dont jump all over me if im wrong, its just an estimate..but my main point is that its a good project car...

i dont think the scoop is that expensive...it depends if you get it in carbon or glass...they are usually arround $300 and i think all you have to do is remove part that the scoop replaces and screw it on so labor shouldnt be that expensive..

That scoop is a "do-it-yourself" thing its not that. Go http://xcars.com. theres alot of MR2's there. That scoop isnt that by the way
