7th gen

I think the 2003's are gonna be the best next to the 3rd gen. I really like the 6th gen though, 1998-2002

The 7th Gen should come stock with a base H22 and the V6 TL Type S engine.

actually 7gen will get I4 - K24 and V6 - J32.
K24 is DOHC engine, currently available in 2002 CR-V, 160hp and 162lbs/ft. its very likely 7gen Accord I4 will have this engine.
J32 as all we know is currently available in 99+ TL & 01+ CL, it will probably tweak to produce 220hp instead of 215hp. but its not conformed information.

about pictures; there are pix floating around internet, but I don't think any of those pix are legit, just because source where they come from not legitimate.

so far from what i know.

the 7gen accord i4 will have the same engine from the new CR-V, i think the code is K24. is the i-VTEC 2.4L making 160hp and dunno the torque.

on the other hand, honda said the V6 will have a stick this time and a cloutch too but unfortunally it wont be macking the same hp than the maxima/altima 240hp i think, it willl be around 220-230hp

well it has some good news and some bad news

Good, i am saving for a 7th gen with a v6, and i was hoping it was gonna have a manual tranny. I wonder if its gonna be RWD? That would kick ass.

Its not going to be RWD, i'm 100% sure.

i have some feeling V6 w/ manual might going to avalable only on coupe in begening of production. those feeling based on what they did for TL/Cl typeS, J32A2 was introduced on 2dr CL first.

Thats cool, i like the coupes fine. Hopefully it wont be some pussy auto-stick like they got on the type-s now, its just not as fun only having two pedals.

considering the Acura CL is getting the 6 speed, & not the TL, & the Prelude is going with the Camaro...the coupe Accord should get the man. & auto trannies & the sedan V6 get auto only (family thing); with same available for the "K24." now with the CL Type-S getting the 260hp V6, a sport version of Accord should be available...

BTW, how old is the Accord? maybe the Anniv. edition may get it.
