electrical problem...

Last winter my dad slid on some ice and went into a ditch. Since then, the A/C, heater and the radio will still come on, but the horn, the tail lights , and the turn signals don't work. He's checked most of the wires and found and still nothing. Does anyone know what it could be? We're desperately trying not to send it back to yet ANOTHER shop. Thanx

Lightbulb

Have you checked all the relays and fuses? I know the horn has it's own relay.

Re: electrical problem...

What model Jeep? If it's a TJ, fuse 2 is the taillights and 13 is turn signals. The horn fuse is in the PDC under the hood and looks to be fuse 20 in my 98 TJ FSM.

It could also be the clock spring on the steering wheel if all of the fuses check out okay.
