Arrow Acceleration and PCV question

I am having problems accelerating at higher speeds and occasionally at low speeds. It seems when I go up hills I press the pedal down, the car shakes a bit and it looses power. It sounds like it tries to gear down but it hangs up or something.

I am trying to get the oil changed and the filters(Oil, air, fuel) and PCV valve. I'm not sure where exactly the PCV is. I think it is directly on top of the engine but I'm not sure. After changing the oil, I drove to work. I checked after work to see if there was anything leaking just to be sure filter was on tight enough.

Today going to work, my roommate showed me I was leaking ATF at a fairly fast rate. I know the pan and seal was replaced within the past year because of a bottom out that occured. The ATF hasn't leaked like that ever even before the pan was replaced.

I dunno... any thoughts?

Re: Acceleration and PCV question

The PCV valve is located in the REAR of the engine in the area above the middle cylinder.

As far as your transmission problem, what year is your car? It could be the vacuum modulator for the transmission. Where abouts on the transmission is the leak?

My car is 1992 3.3L v6.

It looks like the ATF is leaking around the transmission pan.

3.3L? Is it a cutlass cierra?

As far as the ATF, it may LOOK like it's leaking around the pan, but it may actually be leaking from somewhere else on the transmission and running down.

That would be something to look at. If it is coming from the pan, then it wasn't put back together correctly.

That's why I was asking. I'm not sure if he's talking about a cutlass ciera or a cutlass supreme.
