Parma Paint

hello,
i have been spraying parma paint on model cars. they have strange names for their paint. one typical name is "Fasescent Yellow" or Fasescent Red. does anyone know what the "Fasescent" stands for? I am looking for transperant colors....is that what the fasescent means?

Fasescent is their way of saying fluorescent, it's a gimmick I guess.

I hate to tell you this, but Parma paints are made for use on R/C bodies, they're what I use exclusively for spraying my lexan bodies and while they are great for that purpose, they're not ideal for model cars.

The only way you're going to get a real shine out of the paint is to clear coat it.

It's actually not made specifically for Lexan, it just happens to work on it. If you go to an art store, you'll see this stuff called Createx: Notice the bottles and colors are a lot like Parma Faskolor? It's the same stuff.

Parma actually advertises it as an 'all purpose' paint, for Lexan R/C bodies, plastic models, trains, even landscaping and figures. True, you need some kind of clear coat, but it goes on very well with an airbrush inside my R/C bodies: Flat finish aside, it covered better than any model paint I've tried.

Do you mean Faschange in the Parma range. Its their version of Chamelion paint!
