Anyone know OBD2 Code P1494

Does anyone know what the code P1494 might be for a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse?

codes in the 1400s mostly revolve around EGR, EVAP, O2sensors, TPS, CHT, etc. And numbers that start with P for powertrain, and then a 1 are typcially for air and fuel metering. But for the speicic code you mention, I did some searching for you...

I dont think this is specific to a DSM though, so the location of the part may be different, etc.

All OBD II codes are the same for every car. They might not be the exact same part, as manufacturers have somewhat different parts doing the same thing

Small EVAP LEAK!!
Yes ive had the code come up about 4 times on my 1997 Eagle Talon

Now
get a evap smoke test. to test for any cracks or leaks.
Most cracks or leaks are above the gas tank..thats my guess
