O/T, but need distributor help!
Howdy. I bought a used head and put it on my 86 Integra. I stuck the distributor in place in the end of one cam, and I stuck in the sensor that goes in the end of the exhaust cam.
Now I find out that the head I installed is slightly different than the one I took off. There are only two holes to mount the distributor instead of three. Same thing with the sensor. Here are my questions: what kind of sensor is it that mounts in the end of the exhaust cam, and: Was there really a distributor that only had two mounting bolts? If so, what vehicle did it come on? I called the guy I got the head from, and he said it was an '88. I've just been to a junkyard and looked at an 88 Integra LS, and the sensor and distributor on it both have three mounting holes. Am I freaking out? Yes. Have I lost it? Maybe. Any information would be appreciated...especially if you have the dizzy and sensor I need. Thanks. Flunky |

Both the sensor and the distributor pop into the holes and seem to fit fine. Only problem is that none of the bolt holes line up.
I'm considering...superglue...J.B. Weld...or lizard spit! Heeeeeelp! Flunky PS-I saw the car this head came off of. It was definitely a 1G Integra. The head has bolted down just fine. I'm lost. |

Could the JDM ZC motor have a different distributor than the USDM 1G Integras?
