Eclpise GSX AWD starter removal

My starter went out in my '90 eclipse. How much B.S. is there in changing starters? Anybody know the the technique?

its not too hard, only 2 bolts how it onto the tranny.

then take off the power and ground wire.

remember to disconect the battery first

What he said. And it helps to remove the battery to get some elbow room. Its on the back side of the bellhousing, just behind the block, and under the intake mani.

Hey thanx.... It wasn't near as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Once I got all the hoses out the way it was a peice of cake.
