I also would like to know. Down with the auto!! Cept mine is a 96 LS, if that makes any difference. Is there a shop or something that would do it for you? Doing it myself is out of the question, unless you don't have to do too much fabbing or electictral, but I would imagine you have to do alot of that...

I don't exactly know how much a pure coversion from auto to manual. But I could tell you that an engine swap on an automatic civic del sol to a b18c1 manual is $1500 at raceline in temple city, ca. Then I ask a second question. How much would the swap be with a manual del sol? He said $500-$600. That's a difference of $900-$1000. I'm assuming that this is the extra labor along with parts, etc. You might be able to get a better deal from your performance shop but you are still looking at at least $1500 for a change over, depending on the price of the tranny itself. And if you are going with the change over, might as well get LSD, which is maybe $1000+ for the tranny itself. So, I dumped the del sol and got a teg manual.
