3000gt vr4 vs STI

well here's the story. i was on my way to the mall and i seen an sti in front of me, now i thought nothing of it cause usually when i see sti's around here there older people's cars. so at the light theres a car in front of me but there is no one in front of him, he looks like he's about 35 years old so like i said i thought nothing of it. light turns green and the car in front of me moves kinda fast i'm driving normal but the guy in the sti heard my BOV and took of, i mean that car moves! so i got behind him and then got on the side of him, and he took of again wanting to race, so now that i know he really wants to race i get back behind him to go around the car that was in front of me DS to 2nd at let loose at the same time he let loose, i jumped in front of him by half a car length and it stayed that way for about 2 blocks then a car was in my lane so i had to stop cause i wasn't ahead enough to cut in front of him.
before you call this bs, my car is modded, so thats why the race went the way it did

I wish you coulda lined up with him at a light. Probably would have been a diffrent race. Sti's are voulnerable from a roll. But you gotta love the vr4's. But all in all if you took the time out to write your kill. Congratz.

I've wanted to line up against an STI from a stop light with either of my VR4s. I'd like to see how the AWD between the two cars would compare. Win or lose, it would be a fun time.

Glad you got a chance to run with one even for a little while.

it has a good top speed, i believe its 159mph stock, but as far as freeway rolls, its not so good, not bad, but not good, the awd and weight is a disadvantage when on a 60mph roll compared to a rx7 or 300zxtt.
but the launch is crazy

Those STI's are quick! Raced one at the track back in september, he was pulling off a 13.5 at 98 mph.
