I was wondering if I get the 92-95 Si Engine for my 92 Hatchback DX... but i already have a 95 Tranny for my DX engine... Will I need another tranny for the Si engine or will my 95 tranny work good enouff ?

the dx tranny will work, but the gears are little bit longer than the si/ex tranny.

I thought the 92-95 Si's were dohc's? If so, no it won't fit. If they're sohc Si's (like the 90-91) yes it will fit.

Yeah the 92-95 si didn't get the b16 like the later si did. They only got the sohc d16z6 that the ex got. I think honda should have put the b16 in the little 92-95 hatch. That would have been an awesome factory car.

If you don't have the money for an Si tranny then the DX one will work, but won't effectively use the Si's powerband. The car will run, get you from pt A-B, but may feel funky. I'm not sure, but let us know how it works out for future reference
