how many miles is to many miles?
im lookin to get a bike, and im lookin at 98 cbr's and stuff of that nature. Possible even a little earlier just cause i dont have a huge amount of cash...but what would be too many miles to risk buying a bike at...I've seen quite a few with like 10,000 and stuff like that, would that be too much for my first bike? or should i get less miles then that if i can?
thanx |

So long as the bikes were ridden mostly "properly" then it'll last for MANY thousands of miles. My bike has over 19,000 and it's a 1994 and it still is running. A friend of mine has over 90,000 miles on his bike.
Just make sure the bikes weren't used for wheelies/stoppies/burnouts all the time, and you'll find yourself something nice.
