Hey guys,
My non-digital trip/odometer seems to be getting stuck more and more often. It will just get stuck and stop clicking over until I reset it(trip) and even then it might not click over for about 100kms. And then suddently it just starts ticking over again. What is causing this? How can this be fixed? How much would I be looking at? I have heard that the only thing to do is replace the dash and instruments with another one from a wreckers. Is this true or is there a much easier (and less expensive) solution? Thanks heaps. |

Re: stuck odomoeter
Gee haven't seen this problem before. It is mechanically driven so sounds as though it is stuffed.
I would look to go to a wreckers and pick up another instrument cluster and replace it.
