Hey guys I would like to know how many different turbo brands are out there and what they are. [ which Brands are the best and which brands are best for 8psi or less. ]

How many of you have your mr2 or other car turboed or supercharged?

It really all depends on what your power goals are. If your like me your shooting for 350-400rwhp. In that case you have alot of options alot of people go with the TD06sh 20g from greddy its a nice upgrade but it's limited also thiers the basic T-67 which I've heard was nice but havn't seen good numbers from it.Then you have the big boys like the GT25r,GT30,and GT35 those are the ones for big Hp baby thier pricey but oh so nice. The T3/T4 kit is not a bad kit at all no company acutally makes a kit for it but you can find many places that sell thier own kit. I'm going with the T3/T4 becuase it spools hella quick and the T4 compressor makes good power dpeneding on which trim and housing you get.I hope that helps a little alot of things go into making power but remember the 3 basics AIR,FUEl,and Spark if you have more of one you usually have to have more of another to make power and or be safe.later

T-78,T-88,TO4R etc etc those are all great turbos but you have to understand that a 4 cylnder dosent make near enough exhaust gas to spool up a big turbo like those in time before redline to make it worth it. I mean you will put down like 400 etc etc but you'll have to be redlining in 3rd on the highway to spool it up and everytime you shift you lose flow cause the turbo slows down you see what I'm saying. thats why you see supras,RX-7,skyline etc etc having them cause they have 6 cylinders(except the RX-7 but it puts out hella exhuast flow). so like I said before just stick with what works T3/T4 is good becuase it uses a T3 exhaust housing which is small and will spool extremly fast and has a T4 compresser housing which is large and will flow alot so. bigger is not always better you have alot of compensation to take into consideration.later
