Question auto-leveling

wondering if anyone has any experience with autoleveling systems. I have a 1988 olds 98 and the air compressor use to "burp" every once in a while, but now it has stopped. I checked the compressor by "hot " wiring it and it seems fine, the level switch under the car doesn't seem to do any thing if iI move it back and forth manually. Any other Ideas?

Re: auto-leveling

If all the mechanics look good & you said you hot wired the comp & it's working, you have a 90% probability the E.L.C. sensor is at fault. The last time I checked on one it ran around $275.00 to $325.00 though, sorry for the bad news.

Check at the wreckers, no need for a new one, warranty usually 90 days from the boneyard.
