All you'll need for a GSX is a basic manual boost controller. Joe P. makes one, Hallman makes some nice ones, as well as www.slowboyracing.com. They're inexpensive, make sure you get a decent boost gauge also. The factory one isn't a gauge.

Re: Boost controller help!!!

get the GReddy PRofec B spec 2 if you are planning on doing any more tuning. you will love it. but first is the boost guage. GReddy is the most accurate, and you can get pillat mounts from http://www.guagepods.com. peeps always ask me if mine is stock. to see more of what peeps have done to their eclipses try http://members.cardomain.com/djvc1 . that is my ride and you can surf the site for tons of others.

A profec B is good if you've got a FWD. He won't be spinning the tires no matter how hard he dumps it. He can launch with it set at 15-20psi with no problem.

What you're thinking of is something different. A Manual boost controller means you set it & forget it. An automatic (AVC-R) boost controller scrambles the boost on launch, which is usually used in FWD'ers to reduce wheel spin. With your AWD you can launch at any boost & not worry about wheel hop or tire spin. I have a 35$ boost controller on mine from SlowBoyRacing.com It's been set on 17psi for the longest time now. Almost time to adjust it w/ the colder weather coming.
