Hey man, I think Im gonna take your advice on the "makeshift" cool-air intake, or at least try it out...... Do you by chance have any schematics on the car and what your talking about, or can you go more in depth with it? It sounds like it'd work well, and I talked to my friend who owns a shop and he said that he's heard of doing the same thing before...

first question is, does your air conditioner work? and if so, do u really need it? cuz mine didnt work and i took it off. that left the space open and gave me the CAI idea.

its about a week later. I got the compressor out no problem. Do you drop the whole assembly down? Because the rounded off thingie has the air filter in it. If your talking another black round thing, I pulled that out. I just wanna know if you drop down the hose, computer control (silver box) and the black casing with the filter in it. Do you pull all of that down or do you take parts out.
