Thats a good question... i had always thought vr6 jettas were the only jettas (mkIII) with 4 wheel disc brakes... this i foudn out was untrue... maybe?
I was at a friends house over the summer and her uncle was over with a 94 jetta GL... with 4 wheel disc brakes... nothing performace was done to this car so it was like a mod or anything... he knew nothing about it and said he had bought the car from an old lady... it had to be a GL too because it had power nothing, no sunroof, fender mounted antenae, orange and red tail lights, etc. ... none of which came on the vr6 jetta.... i dunno... i dont think i helped at all...
