Help selecting project car...

Ive been looking to get a project car for awhile now and I would like some opinions. Im assuming since this is a honda forum that you guys may be somewhat biased as since one of the options im considering is not a honda, but thats ok. Anyway, heres what I have narrowed it down to so far.

#1- '96-'00 Honda Civic EX Coupe with turbo (fully built top and bottom for ~225 whp)

#2- '96-'00 Honda Civic CX/DX Hatchback with B18C1 swap (fully built top and bottom for ~200 whp)

#3- '93-'01 Subaru Impreza AWD L Coupe with '04 WRX Sti Drivetrain swap (probably just upgrade the intercooler and exhaust to get 300 whp)

#4- '93-'98 Volkswagon Jetta 2.0 with turbo kit (fully built top and bottom for ~250 whp)

Im only putting down the type of car and engine upgrades because they would all recieve pretty much the same type of upgrades as far as brakes, body, and suspension.

Sounds like a lot of talk. Let me be the first do say you got big dreams. Goodluck and definitely come back and don't fade out like majority of the n00bs that visit here. I'd like to see you put at least one of these into action.

Much more than talk. My last project car was a '02 WRX. Compared to that these are some dirt cheap projects. Gotta keep it simple though since Im going to be buying a home in the next couple months

Im not a big fan of nitrous, so whatever I do will be either N/A or turbo. I like the idea of having the power there whenever I need it.

Re: Re: Help selecting project car...

Ok first off this is a car for a project right? so why does it matter what we think, it is going to be a project car, so choose a car that you would want to work on. If you decide on a car that we think would be cool, then whats the point of a project car, if you are going to do a project car make it something different, im just saying choose a car that YOU are going to want to work on, cause it isnt our car and our money going into it, its yours.
