As long as you have a shop manual you should be fine. I had no problems at all working on the front discs, and I haven't done much work on cars. About the only problem you might run into is having your caliper frozen in which case you will need a new set of calipers. http://www.binghamtonlife.com/manual/2gsm/ - go here if you have trouble with anything or need a manual.

Naaah! Front disc brakes are REALLY easy! Do 'em yourself! You take the wheel off, loosen one bolt and remove another. The old pads flop out. You stick the new ones in, push the caliper back with a screwdriver and lower it into place, put the bolt back in, tighten those two bolts up, and you're done.
Do it quickly, and you won't even need to bleed the brakes...although you should always do that when you've changed pads, and you'll probably need some help with that.

PS-OK, I guess you should get some help...dang. I really like it when chicks like T-Mo do their own work just because they're into NOT waiting for someone else to get around to it...

Re: brakes on the crx

Oh no, pads from Pep Boys? Your better off using Honda brake pads, as most other pads are low quality junk. They are very hard, creat lots of brake dust, & can be noisy.

If you want something other than Honda pads, go with something performance like EBC's green stuff.
