Re: cd player
Hey, man. I have the Exact same problem. It just started on my 99. It doesnt even like regular CD's. It plays for a minute or so and then it starts to get scratchy and skipping, then says ERR and spits it out. I bought the CD with the brushes on bottom to clean lens, but it didn't work, save your $. Let me know if you fix it. Good luck man.
Peace. |

pull the fuse
I had this happen to mine. I pulled the fuse(s), then put the key in to make sure I got the right one(s), and then put it back and everything worked fine again.
May not be your problem, but it's worth a try. Jeb |

Re: cd player
You can get a cleaning disk at Wal-Mart or somewhere like that for under $10. It's just a CD with some little brushes on the bottom where the laser reads. Very simple to work. Remember, NEVER touch the lens in a CD player, nor look directly at it while it's on. It emits radiation.
