Exclamation Drift-to the curb!!!ouch! help me! Quick Yo! Save me!

Yo, I messed my shiz up! I need some help! I was using my handbreak around a corner and damn dog, I was tryin' to get away... I was too late and goin' to fast for the drift, so I met the curb... hard... destroyed my giovanna wheel, and cambered my wheel. Its still drivable, but I sure don't wanna explain to anyone what happened... damn I messed yo! I won't be doin that again.
I probably tweaked the unibody on her. oh well. Sometime I'll get hooked up to fix that, but now I am concerned with taking that fierce camber out of the wheel
By the looks of it, I think it's bent from the spindle. up inside, past the rear disc.
so what's up guys, what do I need to start researchin'???

The whole YO YO YO bit makes you sound a bit retarded and maybe not capable of fixing it but what you want to do is remove the rear wheel and look for any stress cracks in the undercoating and or paint. You also may want to measure the wheel to quarter panel so you know which way its bent. Your best bet is to go to a bone yard and get the whole rear assembly and replace the whole bit. Good luck

P.S. Fast and Furious was just a movie! LAY OFF THE E-BRAKE UNLESS YOU'RE PARKED! You're are giving the import crowd a bad name!

I drift all the time... Im just havin' fun and it just turns out that I really messed my car up... and I knew that there were no other ped's or cars around, so it's me, I messed up and now Im payin' for it, right. My buddy has a small shop, and is a machinist, so wish me luck...
I looked at it, and damn;
Listen boys and girls, if you like driftin', get over it, because I know I wont be sleepin' tonight.

Hey, that e brake has saved me several times, but this time, considerably not. will I think twice about layin' into them familiar corners like I do? Sure, but It's always good to know how to control your vehicle in any circumstance... unfortunately, Im not perfect... yet.
Oh, and I bet that youre some super sick whiteboy that works at a shop, so if you cant hang with the slang, go back to your shop and play with yourself. happy birthday.

someone make it stop. My super sick whiteboy brain can't interpret his improper use of this fine english language.

But seriously, i'm just curious what kind of vehicle (i.e. mad ride yo) that you're driving? You said you have rear disc, so i'm just wondering if you should even be in a car to begin with let alone one with and sports type setup.

Save the drifting for the track. Next time you wont be so lucky, its gonna be a semi running your stupid ass over.

Instead of thinking or guessing whats wrong with your car, take it to a qualified shop - YO.

Go to Oakland, then tell me if you can hang with that slang. Hatorade? That's SOOO 5 years ago!

Anyways, using the E-brake is NOT drifting, not even in a RWD vehicle. It's called ASS sliding and being plain stupid if you're out doing it on the streets. Get a clue, some hooked on phonics, then come back to us. I mean WTF?

BTW, if I were you I'd get your car to a shop and see what they have to say about it. I'd have good reason to think it's messed up beyond the spindle, and I've have your axels checked out as well.

Prolly no help but i was run into a curb by some non-driving MoFo and messed up a good bit of my suspension. I bent the rim, (a Racing Hart of all rims), bent the spindle, badly bent the lower control arm and the steering knuckle. I got off easy though.... wasn't my fault so it all got paid for but maybe that'll give you an idea of where to start...though it is the rear on your car.

Thats the best point made in this thread. e brake has nothing to do with drifting in rear wheel drive cars. Sure you see drift videos and guys pull up on the e brake for a second but thats the keep the car sideways and not going to fast in the corner. It's called power-over that gets their rear wheel drive cars sideways. Thats when you can downshift like to second gear at 5000rpm into a corner, than floor it and be able to get the wheels spinning. And its also part of being some of the best drivers in the world. And it doesn't matter if there was no cars or pedestrians. There is still a 5in. tall curb in the way if you do lose control.
