Lookin at a 92 si
I found a 92 prelude si in the local paper but im wandering if its worth the price. He has it listed as 3,500. I currently have an 89 prelude si and i would like to get a 4th gen because they look better and are faster. Any advice is appreciated

You gotta check out the car if you're serious about buying. depends on how many miles are on it and how it looks and runs. personally, i would take it, considering it was overall in good condition. take into consideration everything, and if you dont wanna buy off a personal seller, just cruise around to some used car lots and youll eventually stumble upon a 4th generation prelude. or use Autotrader.com
i found 2 Preludes on there, one of which i wanna buy this week. 93 S coupe

it has 157000 miles, i havnt had a chance to drive it but he says it runs great ( we'll just suppose it does for pricing reasons) it has pretty good paint but its black so u can see some minor scratches. Theres some paint chipping on the rear bumper too ( i plan to get a body kit which will replace that too). As far as i know its bone stock.

The best advice I can give you is get the car for an hour, have a predertimined, reputable mechanic look at the car. Not any Joe Schmoe, someone you trust. If it is in sound condition then yes 3,500 is a very good price. Take into mind the few cosmetic problems, and you'll have a fun, torque engine to play around with, in a car that handles extremely well stock.
