Anybody have this?

Does anybody have a Motodyne supercharger for the 2.8 12V? Is there anywhere else to get it besides through them? Their price seems pretty steep.

Re: Anybody have this?

snake oil.....I've heard nothing but bad news from this company. If you live close to them, then drop in and talk to them. I wouldn't put any money down via the phone or online for any of their products with the bad press they get.

Yes i have the motodyne SC

Actually the kit seems to produce more power than what's advertised, my 12v Dyno sheet shows pretty clear 5,800 rpm 289hp on a mustang Dynometer this past fall. So that's pretty impressive considering my motor is stock aside from the motodyne kit.
It's understandable the audiworld fudge packers hate motodyne, because everything they stand for goes against the sponsorship dollars that audiworld collects from
the gypsy tuners like PES, most likely the people that posted above

I'm an Audiworlder, and Motodyne is taboo around there. However, if you're looking for forced induction for the 12v, shoot me an email.

Hey now, easy their buddy.
I'm a long time 12v owner and have no affiliation with any tuning company. I put mostly TDL racing stuff on my engine since Lloyd of TDL lives and works about 1 mile from my work place.

If motodyne is such a great company, how come there are so many people on the yahoo 12v group (now on AW) that *claim* they've had nothing but bad experiences with the company? I'm not saying that they don't have a legit product, what I am saying is that there are many people who could atest that this company does and has done some shady things in the past. I have no experience with them personally so I cannot vouch for them. I just don't understand why they don't back their products up and refute those bad claims against them. To me, if you were running an honest and legit business I would be fighting to keep my company name clean. I've seen nothing of this from them in the past 4 years I've been a 12v owner.
