i have a freind with an escort and he wants to put an escort gt engine into it. where might we go about aquiring one of these.

if you and your friend dont REALLY know what there doing, then dont even try this. you can usually find any motor at a bone yard, look in the yellow pages under automotive - used parts. if your going to swap in an engine, find one with a few more balls than the gt

yea i recomended that we should just mod the one he has probably end up with more power for the same amount of money, also tried to get him to put a subaru or nissan engine into it he didnt buy that either. i know what im doing kinda didnt want to get one from a random used parts collection or scavange one from a totaled ride. its all good ill try to convince him some more.

There are differant generations of GT motors, some are more compatible than others, there not all the same.
