Wow cool guys. Let me know if you need help.

We pretty much are all of the Tri-State Nissans (240s mostly).

Did you get it done or buy it that way?

Where did you get it done or where did the last owner get it done?

How much for engine + swap?

Just would like to know since I'm planning that swap...maybe I'll do it at home or take it somewhere...still seeing how much money I can save and how fast I can have it.

I did all the work except painting myself. I had a little help at the end from my buddy Paul, but mostly it was me.

Costwish, I spent about 5500 for everything including the car.

If you are interested, I am willing to do swaps for people, send me an email. [email protected]

If you don't mind post up what you are running. That seems like a low number to me but I have an open mind when people have done the work themselves.

I am looking to install a SR in my car doing the work myself and I am looking at 7k.

Here's how it all broke down...

Car-$1300
Clip-$2500(Included good clutch spark plugs....motor had 30000KM on it)
Blitz 80MM Exhaust-Included with clip
Water pump, Thermostat, Timing belt Radiator hoses-$300
Custom Driveshaft-$407
Shipping on clip-$800
Misc fluid clamps etc right around $100

All labor I did myself. I thought at the time that I got a smoking deal on the clip, but the head blew up and I had to wait 3 months for a replacement. The transmission turned out to be from an R32 and had a mechanical speed sensor, so no speedo, and NOW the synchros sound like they are bad also.

If you doubt the price, I can back it all up with invoices. Are you doing the swap yourself for the SR20 and if not, why not allow me to do it. My "partner" in swaps has the GTi-R SR20DET in hisa Sentra SE-R, he did the work himself and he helped his roommate put the SR20DET in his NX2000. Send me an email and we can work something out.

I hope that covers the "what you are running" part, if not and I misunderstood, explain what you want to know and I will tell you. The biggest help was doing the swap myself, most placves want close to $2500 to install the RB25DET.

That is correct, everything is stock.

Your number to install your SR is 5819, where are you getting your motor?

I want to make sure the motor is running nice before I go jumping on it.
